Job Summary:
The location is Springfield, Massachusetts. The healthcare organization is seeking a registered nurse specializing in labor and delivery at a teaching hospital setting. The position involves providing care to labor and high-risk patients in a busy labor, delivery, and postpartum unit. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification, a minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience, some high-risk experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-risk obstetric cases.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit includes labor, high-risk, and postpartum pods with a total of 38 beds. The shift times are 0700-1930 for day shifts and 1900-0730 for night shifts. Candidates will work three 12-hour shifts per week, with every other weekend required. One on-call shift is required every 6 weeks, in addition to scheduled shifts.
