Customer Service Associate I

Overview We are seeking a Customer Service Associate I to join our team at Dollar Tree Stores and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. Responsibilities Assist customers with questions and recommendations Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register Maintain security of cash and protect company assets Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional and friendly interactions Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and presentation of all areas Other duties as assigned Skills and Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting Excellent customer service and relationship management skills Strong organizational and communication skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Perks and Benefits Employee Assistance Program Retirement plans Educational Assistance Medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision insurance options We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to recruiting, hiring, training, and promoting qualified people of all backgrounds.
