Student Coordinator

Job Summary The Student Coordinator has the overall responsibility for coordinating and supervising the Master’s level student intern program in the Outpatient Services (OPS) and community based services departments, including intensive outreach services, CCMTP, Intake/Linkage, etc. They act as liaison between the student interns and Trilogy, building strong relationships with master’s level counseling and social work programs at various schools. The Coordinator provides ongoing training and supervision to student interns and staff, collaborates with other Trilogy staff, and ensures student interns provide client‑centered, trauma‑informed services to clients with severe mental illness and co‑occurring substance use disorders with a harm reduction focus. Schedule Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Office Location 1400 W Greenleaf Ave., Chicago, IL 60626 Salary Range $70,000 - $75,000 Responsibilities Provide ongoing individual and group supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring to student interns as their primary supervisor to ensure provision of strengths‑based, client‑centered, and trauma‑informed services to clients Build and maintain strong relationships with Master’s level counseling and social work programs and schools to recruit new students to the Trilogy intern program Provide outreach to schools, explain Trilogy services, attend job fairs, and promote community mental health services to attract potential students and future employees Provide clinical services (psychotherapy, skill building, case management, community support, etc.) to clients in Trilogy programs Provide comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment and psychoeducation services to adults and their families, including being certified in the IM‑CANs assessment and reviewing/signing off on IM‑CANs Coordinate with OPS and outreach leadership to identify available student intern positions on teams and support team leaders who will be working on a day‑to‑day basis with interns on their teams Attend team meetings, minimum monthly, to ensure roles for teams and students are clear Provide training around context for outreach services, coaching on evidence‑based practices, and coaching on teamwork and dynamics Create and update training resources related to the student intern program and ensure materials are up‑to‑date and reflective of best practices Maintain documentation requirements in compliance with accrediting bodies, funding organizations, and agency standards, and ensure compliance from all student interns Coordinate with HR and administrative programs to ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding of interns Complete relevant evaluations and assessments for students in accordance with expectations of the schools they attend Attend relevant meetings in the community to educate students/faculty regarding services offered at Trilogy Perform other related duties and/or projects as assigned Qualifications Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or other closely related field Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, or Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts required Minimum two years’ experience working with people with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses, including psychotherapy experience and case management, community‑based services Valid Illinois driver’s license Supervisory or leadership experience preferred Benefits FREE Virtual Primary Care, Urgent Care, and Mental Health Counseling for all employees PAID Maternity/Paternity leave Medical Insurance (BCBS of IL) Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Long‑Term & Short‑Term Disability Pet Insurance FSA (Health, Dependent Care, Transit) Telemedicine EAP 403(b) Retirement Plan with Employer Match #J-18808-Ljbffr Trilogy
