Punch Press Operator - 2nd Shift

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Punch Press Operator - 2nd Shift at our Pinckneyville, IL location! The core hours are Monday-Friday, 3:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $22.93 per hour with a $0.40 per hour shift differential.

What You'll Do:

In this function, you will:

Run press brake for forming and/or punching operations.

Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications using tape measure, micrometers, gauges, calipers, etc.

Inspect completed workpieces for defects, utilize Workmanship Standards, accurately document results, and complete inspection log.

Read work orders to determine specifications.

Test and adjust the machine using gauges and hand tools.

Install, and align punches, dies, or other fixtures in rams or beds of machines using gauges, shims, and hand tools.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications:

Prior press brake operating experience.

Prior assembly experience.

Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Position Success Criteria:

Must be able to obtain a license to operate a fork truck in a safe, responsible manner.

Ability to work with minimal supervision.
