Occupational Therapist

The Occupational Therapist will provide high-quality patient care to a geriatric population in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting. The primary focus will be on evaluations, treatment plans, and therapy interventions to support recovery and improve quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' functional abilities.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities and techniques to support rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress and adjustments to treatment plans in compliance with facility protocols.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a schedule of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, requiring 40 hours per week and 1 weekend shift per month.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (MS OTR) from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with an adult population, preferably in a hospital setting.
