Position Summary Sam's Club #6403 in Brandon, FL is seeking a dedicated Receiving & Shipping Associate to maintain and process shipments in accordance with company policies and procedures. Responsibilities Develop and post delivery schedules, and compile and organize receiving reports. Verify merchandise counts, route merchandise to proper locations, and process expenses. Receive merchandise, organize the receiving area, and utilize equipment while completing required documentation. Track and process claims, return damaged goods, and handle liquidation merchandise, maintaining and cleaning the clearance area. Use technology to capture required reporting and documentation. Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, conducting safety sweeps, and properly spotting forklifts. Handle hazardous materials in accordance with company steel standard guidelines, and report unsafe situations to facility management. Implement action plans to uphold company ethics and integrity, using the Open Door Policy. Complete work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners, and identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations. Communicate progress, determine and recommend improvement opportunities, and adapt to change. Qualifications Forklift certification, or will obtain certification within 30 days of job entry.
