About the Opportunity

Harbor Shield Brokers is a growing independent insurance agency seeking a motivated, P&C-licensed Insurance Sales Representative.

This is a sales-focused role with a major advantage: we provide the leads. Our marketing programs are expected to generate approximately 10-20 incoming opportunities per day , allowing you to focus on quoting, selling, following up, and building customer relationships rather than relying primarily on cold calling.

What You'll Do

• Respond to incoming insurance leads and identify customer needs
• Quote and sell personal lines insurance with multiple carriers
• Follow up with prospects and convert opportunities into customers
• Cross-sell additional coverage when appropriate
• Build strong, long-term customer relationships
• Maintain accurate sales and follow-up activity in agency systems

What We're Looking For

• Active New Jersey Property & Casualty insurance license
• 1+ year of insurance experience , preferably personal lines
• Strong sales, communication, and customer service skills
• Comfortable working with quoting platforms and CRM systems
• Organized, motivated, and able to manage a steady flow of opportunities
• Independent agency experience is a plus, but not required

Compensation & Opportunity

• Base salary: $35,000-$40,000, based on experience
• Commission: Competitive commission opportunity, including 50% on eligible new personal lines business
• Agency-provided leads: Approximately 10-20 opportunities per day
• Schedule: Full-time
• Location: Chester, New Jersey, primarily office-based
