Job Description & Skill Requirements:
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and manage supplier quality activities for casting and machined components.
- Drive APQP, PPAP, and engineering change management processes at supplier locations.
- Provide hands-on support to suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve process capability.
- Support new product development (NPD) and address launch and ramp-up quality concerns.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, supplier quality, operations, or quality engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience in casting processes, Aluminum castings: HPDC, LPDC.
- Experience in machining of engineered components.
- Proven experience in supplier quality management and structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Ability to provide practical, shop-floor-level solutions to suppliers.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline (mandatory).
