Merchandise and Stocking Associate

Position Summary Do you like to work on your feet and keep things neat and organized? As a merchandising & stocking associate, you will help members find the items they need by managing inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick‑up orders, and stocking shelves. The fast‑paced role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a positive attitude toward customers and coworkers. Responsibilities Promptly unload trucks and stage merchandise for sale. Assist fellow associates across the store as needed. Sort and stock products on shelves and in the backroom. Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude. Maintain a clean, neat, and member‑ready area. Provide member service by greeting members, identifying their needs, and offering guidance on self‑service technology. Maintain safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting and hazardous‑materials procedures, and reporting unsafe situations. Maintain sales‑floor presentation by zoning, arranging, organizing merchandise, setting up displays, signing and pricing items, and managing promotional and seasonal merchandise. Monitor food and merchandise quality by ensuring proper rotation, code dating, recalls, and sanitation standards. Comply with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity. Complete work assignments and priorities using data and resources, and communicate progress effectively. Ensure club pick‑up orders are filled and staged according to company policy and procedures. Good problem‑solving skills and tackles obstacles head‑on. Able to lift and carry boxes or other heavy objects weighing more than 25 pounds. Compensation Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $25.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Benefits
