To provide Senior Leadership across a portfolio of capital programme(s), delivering assurance, planning, organisation and coordination from concept to handover within the capital strategy for NHS Lothian and the Integration Joint Boards and Scottish Government across an Estate which is both historically and dynamically changing to meet the needs of healthcare services. Managing key governance aspects of programmes, from business case development, specification of client requirements and technical standards, design, town planning, to procurement and construction, and into the operational phase, ensuring they are delivered within the scope agreed by the Project Board and NHS Lothian. Ensuring that capital programmes are then built as described in the business case to the required quality, as defined in current policy, standards and guidance, and within the approved budget and timescales.
