Chemist

Yoh Life Science is hiring for an Analytical Chemist with experience writing analytical and microbial out of specifications investigations. This will be a 6 month contract position ONSITE in Boca Raton, FL. Schedule: M-F 8-5pm Pay Rate: $30-35/hr DOE Duration: 4-6 months Responsibilities: Sample all incoming raw material for Quality control testing Maintain the raw material standards library Conduct routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods Review and follow SOPs, specifications, and related documentation. Compile, interpret, and report analytical data. Troubleshoot instruments and initiate investigations for anomalies and deviations. Ensure compliance with GLP, GMP, and SOPs. Document test results accurately in lab notebooks and databases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions. Participate in writing SOPs, OOS reports, deviations, CAPAs, and investigations. Qualifications: Written/oral communication skills required. 2-3 years of experience in the Cosmetic or pharmaceutical industry preferred. Experience with OOS investigations Associate’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline. Estimated Min Rate: $30.00 Estimated Max Rate: $35.00 What’s In It for You?
