Production Supervisor - 1st Shift

1st Shift Production Supervisor Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a food manufacturing company in Sauk Rapids, MN to hire a 1st Shift Production Supervisor. In this leadership role, you’ll oversee production activities, ensure product quality, and help the team meet daily goals. This position plays a key role in maintaining safety, USDA standards, and continuous operational improvements. Oversee daily production to ensure schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements are met Coordinate startup, support team performance, and work closely with HR as needed Troubleshoot issues and support new product launches Monitor sanitation and employee performance across work areas Maintain equipment readiness and coordinate preventative maintenance with USDA inspectors Lead optimization initiatives to improve safety, quality, and efficiency Participate in safety committees and support improvement initiatives Perform other related duties as assigned 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing (meat manufacturing preferred) 2+ years of experience as a production supervisor Strong knowledge of GMPs, scheduling, materials handling, and logistics Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills Working knowledge of USDA regulations and basic computer skills High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred Enjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and direct-hire opportunities for stable, long-term careers.
