Cyber Security Analyst

Job OpportunityWe are seeking a professional with a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience. The ideal candidate will have five years of information technology experience with two years in an information security-related role. They should have solid knowledge and understanding of information technology systems and processes, a sound understanding of the OSI networking model, and working knowledge of IP networking protocols. Experience with Windows Server/Workstation and Mac OS is required. The candidate must possess proven analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills, knowledge of information security principles and practice, and experience with antivirus, anti-malware and proxies solutions. They should also have experience in security incident response and the ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to interface with other internal or external organizations regarding security policy and standards violations, security controls failure and incident response situations. The candidate must be trustworthy in keeping sensitive data confidential and able to balance and prioritize work.
