Job Summary: The Sanitation Workers job is a temp to hire position. Our client is looking for dependable hard-working individuals to join their team. The Sanitation Worker will be assigned to work with the waste management collection/pick up team to recovery and dispose of waste and pick up recyclables around the Kansas City metropolitan area.

Job Details:

• Sanitation workers will ride with driver to pick up waste/recyclables
• Sanitation workers may have to clean up garbage
• Sanitation workers will also be required to complete all other instructions given by supervisors or team leader.

Compensation details: Pay rate $15 an hour. Days of operation Monday through Friday. Hours operation 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or until the job is complete, overtime may be required.

Position Requirements:

• Required qualifications: High School diploma or GED.
• Work environment: May be exposed to inclement outdoor weather conditions, vibrations, extreme tension, temperatures, oils, airborne particles, fumes, loud noise levels and moving mechanical parts.
• Physical requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, lift and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to frequently grasp, push, pull, react, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, use repetitive wrist, hand finger movements and operate mechanical equipment. Must have clarity of vision, three-dimensional vision, precise hand eye coordination and ability to identify and distinguish colors. May be required to lift up to 100 pounds.
