We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Associate to support our accounting team. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial processing, including 3-way matching, vendor payments, and general accounting support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: In-office – Matthews, NC

Key Responsibilities

• Perform 3-way matching of purchase orders, bills of lading (BOLs), and invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Research discrepancies and collaborate with the purchasing department to resolve issues and ensure timely invoice processing
• Prepare and process vendor credit applications and payments (checks and credit card) in a timely manner
• Post trip reports and anchor bolt data into the Visual ERP system
• Assis with general accounting functions and provide support to the accounting team as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or coursework in accounting preferred
• Previous experience in accounts payable or general accounting required
• Manufacturing industry experience is a plus
• Experience with ERP systems required; familiarity with Visual or AccountMate preferred (or willingness to learn)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of integrity and commitment to accuracy
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and willing to collaborate across departments
• Demonstrates and upholds company core values in daily work
