Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Specialist to become part of our compassionate imaging team. You will be working with advanced ultrasound technology to perform essential diagnostic procedures, enhancing the healthcare experience for every patient through careful collaboration and timely imaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during each examination, providing thorough explanations and compassionate care
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Record procedures meticulously and uphold patient documentation standards in the electronic medical record system
• Continuously update your knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques and advancements

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
