Project Engineer Staff (IC4)

Join us as a Project Engineer for the FBM program where you will be involved in planning and executing avionics work scope and program execution. Key activities you will accomplish in this role: Ensure that projects meet on cost, schedule, and technical objectives, following established procedures and work plans. Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Ensure engineering is coordinated across program and suppliers. Typical Minimums for this role 5+ years of professional experience for this role. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/combined education. Experience developing and executing project plans and EVM methodologies. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance; thus a US Citizen. Desired Skills Experience in project management principals (Cost/Schedule/Technical). Experience leading, building a supportive and team oriented culture and driving to tight deadlines. Knowledge of program lifecycle and how early achievements may drive future costs. Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule and technical scope. Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very sophisticated problems and implement constructive change. Experience throughout engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test and operational deployment). Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering. Experience in Business Rhythm creation and management. Excellent presentation abilities. Excellent organizational skills. Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level Secret Pay Rate The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
