Hospitalist Faculty Opportunity - Academic Appointment in Southern CA Bakersfield, California Position Details
- Hospitalist Faculty Position at an academic teaching hospital
- UCLA academic appointment
- 7 on / 7 off dayshift schedule: 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
- 26 work weeks annually plus accrued vacation and additional paid time off Benefits Details
- Competitive salary based on MGMA benchmarks - Estimated annual compensation over $330,000 for new grads - Over $355,000 for physicians with 3+ years experience - Additional income potential through extra shifts

- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine Facility Details
- 222-bed tertiary medical center
- Only designated Level II Trauma Center in the county
- UCLA-affiliated teaching hospital
- Training site for over 200 medical and osteopathic students, residents, and fellows annually
- Graduate medical education in: - Emergency Medicine - Internal Medicine - OB/GYN - Psychiatry - General Surgery - Pharmacy
- Fellowships in: - Child & Adolescent Psychiatry - Addiction Psychiatry - Infectious Disease - Addiction Medicine - Simulation Medicine (non-ACGME)
