Job Description

The Interrupter Assembler plays a key role in a clean, modern manufacturing environment, performing hands-on assembly and production work on mechanical and electrical components. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed, precision work, is eager to learn, and has prior manufacturing or other hands-on experience. Depending on strengths and interests, you may focus on assembly tasks or support warehouse and inventory operations.

Responsibilities

• Clean parts and components as needed to ensure they meet quality and safety standards before assembly.

• Perform general production and assembly duties on mechanical and electrical interrupter components.

• Follow detailed work instructions and diagrams with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Use hand tools and basic mechanical skills to assemble, fasten, and adjust parts.

• Inspect assembled parts and products for quality, identifying and reporting any defects or inconsistencies.

• Support warehouse and inventory operations as needed, including kitting of parts for production.

• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment in the warehouse area when assigned and properly trained.

• Collaborate with production and warehouse team members to meet daily output and quality goals.

• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety and housekeeping guidelines.

• Adapt to changing production needs and learn new tasks and processes as the facility grows and evolves.

Work Environment

This role is based in a large, modern manufacturing facility that is very clean, well lit, and climate controlled, providing a comfortable and safe workspace. You will work in a production area with mechanical and electrical assembly stations, as well as warehouse and inventory zones that handle kitting and material movement.

Standard shifts include:

daylight shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

afternoon shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

nightshift from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Mandatory overtime typically occurs on Saturdays (not every one) and is generally a five-hour day. The environment emphasizes safety, organization, and teamwork, with appropriate work attire expected for a manufacturing setting and the use of required personal protective equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charleroi, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
