Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical/Telemetry

This role is offered for a duration of 26 weeks.

This position requires a Night shift schedule of 3x12 hours, from 19:00 to 07:30, with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

The Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital setting. The nurse will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients primarily in a Medical-Surgical unit while maintaining telemetered patient care capabilities. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake charge RN responsibilities and may be floated to any Cone Health campus as needed.

• Administer blood products and manage peripheral line care.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs, including EKG interpretation.
• Start IVs and manage intravenous medication protocols.
• Utilize rapid response and code teams as necessary.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and infection control protocols.

• Active RN license required.
• 2 years of relevant nursing experience required, including previous charge experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with the EPIC charting system preferred.
• Must pass an EKG exam during onboarding.
