We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of industrial equipment at client locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, hydraulics, and industrial maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Your expertise will ensure that our clients receive top-notch service and support.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and hydraulic systems in farming and construction equipment.
• Utilize diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, ammeters, and voltmeters to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Document all service activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking purposes.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working with high voltage equipment.
• Provide training and support to clients on proper equipment operation and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in farm/construction maintenance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage applications.
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems and components.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, ammeters, and voltmeters.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
• Certification or training in relevant technical fields is a plus.
