Steve Buchanan Insurance Agency in Davis, CA is looking for a motivated professional to take on a leadership-track position as a Retail Insurance Agent with Farmers Insurance.
This is a high-growth role for individuals with a strong sales background who are ready to manage client portfolios, develop a team, and take a leading role within the Farmers network.
About the Role
The Retail Insurance Agent position is designed for candidates who want to transition from sales or service into a senior-level, client-management and leadership role. You’ll receive advanced training, marketing support, and ongoing mentorship from experienced industry professionals.
Successful participants are positioned for long-term career advancement within the Farmers system, managing their own client base and office operations under the Farmers brand.
Responsibilities
- Lead marketing and community outreach efforts
- Manage a growing portfolio of clients and renewals
- Recruit, train, and supervise team members
- Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with company standards
- Set and achieve agency performance goals
Requirements
- Active or ability to obtain Property Casualty and Life Health licenses
- Proven background in sales, leadership, or small-team management
- Entrepreneurial mindset with focus on long-term career growth
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Full-time availability and professional presence
