Retail Service Specialist

Compensation Pay Range: $17.87 - $24.50 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance bonuses or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Responsibilities Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers. Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including team member execution on customer service programs such as Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc. Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy. Process online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner, contacting customers upon shipment arrivals as needed. Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure, utilizing electronic outside purchase order ledger. Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently, issuing refunds accurately using the correct payment methods, and staging returned merchandise in the returns area. Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store. Communicate Zipline messages, delegate and complete Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned. Ensure team members adhere to posted work schedule, obtain approval for changes/deviations from a member of management, and clock in/out per company policy. Perform all store opening and closing duties, including day‑end procedures, securing money/deposits, preparing bank deposits, ensuring night security lights are on, locking doors, arming/disarming security alarms, and checking and securing delivery vehicles parked in secure areas. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Strong communication skills. Ability to obtain RSS Certification. Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts. Automotive systems and repair knowledge. ASE Certification. Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish. Bilingual candidates encouraged. Benefits Competitive wages and paid time off.
