Public Safety Ambassador - Shift Supervisor The Public Safety Ambassador - Shift Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety, hospitality, and overall well-being of the Atlanta Downtown district. This position provides day-to-day leadership and management of a team of Public Safety Ambassadors during assigned shifts, aligning with ADID's goals of creating a welcoming, vibrant, and safe environment – for everyone. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for team development, operational oversight, and fostering effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring the smooth and welcoming operation of downtown Atlanta. This job requires the employee to fulfill certain physical tasks to perform their essential job functions successfully. Frequently standing, walking, sitting, and reaching with their hands and arms. Have good close and distance vision, along with the ability to adjust focus. Work in an environment with moderate noise levels. Ability to work outdoors in varying temperature and weather conditions. Maintain a professional and even-tempered demeanor while responding to any kind of stressful situation that might arise in the district. This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, on-site in-person, non-exempt position.
