Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a housekeeping team and help maintain exceptional cleanliness standards throughout a hospitality property in Hot Springs, AR. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior housekeeping experience who enjoys leading others, ensuring quality standards are met, and creating a positive guest experience.


The Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee daily housekeeping operations, coordinate staff assignments, inspect guest rooms and public areas, and support team members in delivering outstanding service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.


Key Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping associates and daily housekeeping operations.
• Assign and monitor workloads to ensure rooms and common areas are cleaned efficiently and thoroughly.
• Inspect guest rooms and public spaces to verify cleanliness, quality standards, and room status accuracy.
• Coordinate with front desk, maintenance, and other departments to ensure rooms are guest-ready on schedule.
• Train, coach, and support housekeeping staff while promoting a positive team environment.
• Recognize employee achievements and help maintain high morale and performance standards.
• Assist with employee scheduling and daily staffing needs.
• Monitor housekeeping inventory levels and assist with supply forecasting and ordering.
• Manage lost and found procedures according to company standards.
• Perform opening and closing duties as needed.
• Address housekeeping concerns and help resolve operational issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of housekeeping, hospitality, or related experience required.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills for scheduling, reporting, and inventory management.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and move throughout the property for extended periods.
• Ability to perform physical housekeeping tasks when needed.
