About the Position

Position Overview

One of our Partners in Montana is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for a long-term inpatient behavioral health opportunity.

This assignment offers a flexible 7-on/7-off schedule, Epic EMR, dedicated behavioral health support staff, and the opportunity to provide meaningful psychiatric care in a highly desirable mountain community. Providers will care for patients age 12 and older while supporting an established inpatient psychiatric program.

Provider Pay: $248/hour

Pay Ranking: Top 20% nationally for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry locum assignments (2026 market data).

Assignment Highlights

Long-term assignment through May 2027
7-on/7-off hospitalist schedule
Inpatient Psychiatry
Child & Adolescent Psychiatry focus
Patients age 12 and older
12-bed inpatient behavioral health unit
Average daily census of approximately 10 patients
Partial Hospitalization Program support
Epic EMR
Board Certification required
Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship preferred
Montana License or IMLC accepted
Weekend night beeper call
20-minute response requirement
No APP supervision required
Joint Commission Certified staffing partner
HPA Healthcare is an active member of NALTO
Orientation prior to first shift
Start date adjusted to credentialing timeline
