Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Fort Worth, TX. This position requires a highly skilled professional with extensive neuro experience to join a surgical team performing a variety of complex procedures. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on spine, brain, neurosurgery, and robotic surgeries.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license; minimum of 2 years of OR experience in a hospital setting, including neuro surgery; BLS and ACLS certifications; NIH required; neuro experience; specific experience in a hospital setting
• Preferred Qualifications: Robotic surgery experience; Meditech experience
• Unit Highlights: 17-bed unit including CVOR and transplant; not a trauma center; patient ratios of 1/1 for OR nursing; includes spine, brain, Urology, plastic, heart, and transplant procedures
• Unit Staffing: 1-2 surgical technologists per case; floating policy as needed
• Equipment: DaVinci XI robotic system, Globus and Mako robotic systems, microscopes, and standard OR equipment
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Procedures Performed: High volume neuro and general surgeries including craniotomy, orthopedic, robotic, urology, plastic, heart, and transplant surgeries
• Patient Care: Must be friendly and compassionate with patients
• Dress Code: Facility will provide scrubs; hair should be neat and clean; no gel or artificial nails; tattoos should be covered; visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
• Additional Information: Floating and attendance policies apply; one position available
