Cardiac Cath Lab - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare.

Additional Details:

Special Requests: - At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: - Must be able to admit, prep, and recover procedural cases from Cath, IR, and EP. - Must be able to read tele strips and titrate drips. - Need to know most IV medications.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Experience with peripheral angio cases, IR, and neuro intervention preferred.

Unit Details: - Pre/post angio department. - Common diagnoses/procedures include STEMI, stroke, drain placement, line placement, heart caths, peripheral angios, IVC placement, temporary pacemaker insertion, TEEs, cardioversions, and EP studies. - Uses Philips monitoring equipment.

Shift & Scheduling: - On-call required. - May have to stay late some shifts depending on cases.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Driver’s license required for submission
