# Job Opportunity – PACU Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** November 2, 2026 **Location:** Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Shift options available: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, 9:00 PM - 9:00 AM, or 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM. On-call rotation once per night every two weeks. Weekend rotation as needed.**Highlights:** - 14-bed PACU supporting a wide range of surgical procedures including endoscopies, orthopedic surgeries, general surgeries, and trauma cases- Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 ensuring quality patient care and manageable workloads- Collaborative team of 16 nursing staff with structured day and night shift coverage- Meditech EMR system for streamlined documentation and clinical workflows- Opportunity to float to Pre-Op area to enhance skills and provide unit support- Royal blue scrub dress code**Requirements:** - Active RN license in good standing- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required- Post-anesthesia care or critical care experience preferred- Strong clinical assessment and recovery room nursing skills**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This PACU position offers the chance to work with a dedicated team in a fast-paced surgical recovery environment supporting diverse procedures ranging from general surgery to orthopedics and trauma care.
