As a Senior/Lead Product Designer on the Design Systems team at Salesforce, you will play a pivotal role in evolving our AI-first design system across our suite of products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and other designers to ensure consistency, usability, accessibility, and delightful user experiences across Salesforce applications. Responsibilities Lead the creation and maintenance of our next-gen design system, tools, and AI products that scale across Salesforce Contribute quality knowledge to the design system that is readable by both humans and machines Define and document design guidelines, best practices, and standards to ensure cohesive experiences Evolve the visual language & ease of use of Salesforce UI/UX Collaborate with product managers, designers, writers, and engineers to integrate the design system into product development workflows Partner with UX researchers to validate design decisions through user testing and feedback loops Mentor and coach junior designers, fostering a culture of design excellence and collaboration Advocate for accessibility and inclusivity within the design system to ensure all users have a seamless experience Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design systems Experience / Skills required You’re a systems designer who is and knowledgeable in leveraging and training AI to create quality experiences You’re equally comfortable in code and figma, you consider yourself more than just a designer, but also a design engineer You have expert visual design skills, and obsess over the details of any design Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent practical experience 7+ years of experience as a Product Designer, with a focus on design systems and UX/UI design A portfolio demonstrating a strong foundation in design systems, visual design, interaction design, and AI patterns/capabilities Unleash Your Potential When you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life. At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $172,500 - $260,100 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $207,800 - $285,800 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
