Inspector - 1 Shift

Our client, aerospace manufacturing is seeking an Inspector - 1 Shift to join their team. As an Inspector - 1 Shift, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting manufacturing and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Attleboro, MA

Pay Range: $22-24

Shift: Days (40 hours)

What's the Job?

• Perform quality inspections of products throughout the manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished goods
• Identify and document material defects and workmanship issues using visual, mechanical, dimensional, and functional inspection techniques
• Initiate nonconformance material reports (NCMR) and generate Certificates of Conformance (CoC)
• Conduct incoming inspections, first article inspections, in-process release inspections, and final QA release of finished products
• Ensure all inspections and procedures are properly documented following GDP practices and industry standards

What's Needed?

• At least 1 year of GD&T experience with hands-on application, not just blueprint reading
• Technical training courses in a related field or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency with mechanical inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, comparators, and indicators
• Knowledge of aerospace quality management systems and industry standards like AS9100/ISO9001
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
