Daily, AVI will continue to deliver quality ingredients, exceptional service, and outstanding value remaining true to our impeccable reputation.Duties & Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day supply chain operations for food and related supplies across the foodservice division while meeting budget targetsPlan and purchase food, disposables, cleaning supplies, and services in a timely, cost-effective manner while maintaining quality, safety, and specification standardsDevelop and execute procurement strategies for goods and servicesForecast future procurement needsEstablish key performance indicators to drive savings and reduce cost of goodsMaintain strong supplier relationships while identifying new suppliers and productsNegotiate pricing on key ingredients and establish annual purchasing strategiesPrepare RFQs for all goods and servicesApprove purchases in accordance with company policyCoordinate pricing and approved vendor information with internal company departments, including Culinary, Marketing, Sales, and FinancePartner with Accounts Payable to ensure accurate, timely invoice paymentLead direct reports by providing clear direction, training, and supportCollaborate with other Procurement Managers in overlapping areas of responsibilityRequirements:Three or more years of management-level purchasing or procurement experience within a hospitality-focused organization, such as restaurant groups, hotel chains, foodservice companies, or related purchasing groupsBachelor's Degree preferred.Solid understanding of purchasing strategies and inventory managementStrong negotiation skillsProduct development experience preferredStrong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to support effective buying decisions, resolve issues, improve processes, and reduce costsProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelAssertive, outgoing, and professional demeanorCustomer-focused with strong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent writing and communication skillsManage rebate programs, provide required documentation, and collect reportingPartner with field operations, headquarters departments, and contract services on vendor setups, pricing, and payment termsConduct business reviews with vendorsNegotiate and approve pricing agreements and contracts for food goods and services on a monthly, quarterly, semiannual, and annual basisManage new account set-ups and changes with field operators.Benefits:AVI values the dedication of its team members and offers the following benefits:A family culture and atmosphereCompetitive CompensationHealth, dental, vision and life insurance for full-time team members401(k) with generous company matchPaid vacations and holidaysImmense training and growth opportunitiesWe conduct pre-employment drug testing.
