Travel RN – Labor & Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to laboring and postpartum patients in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery unit
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families on labor progression, delivery expectations, and postpartum care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Tennessee or compact licensure eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in an obstetric setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a facility with a Level III NICU and high-acuity obstetric cases
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems used in large acute care hospital environments
• AWHONN fetal monitoring certification or equivalent
