Assistant Teacher : FULL- TIME

The Floater Teacher provides consistent support across classrooms, stepping in where needed to ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for all students. This role is essential in maintaining smooth daily operations and fostering a strong sense of community among staff and children.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Director and Lead Teachers to assist, supervise, and actively engage with students.
• Provide classroom coverage and support as needed throughout the day.
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Contribute ideas, creativity, and teamwork to strengthen the program.
• Assist in fostering a strong sense of community among staff, students, and families.
• Attend all required staff meetings and professional development trainings.

Requirements:

• High energy, engaging, and team-oriented mindset
• Associate's Degree or minimum of 2 years experience in early childhood or a related field
• Minimum of 2,500 documented childcare hours or equivalent education coursework
• Ability to confidently interact with children and provide direction when needed
• Warm, upbeat, and professional demeanor
• Strong communication skills
• Must successfully pass all required background, fingerprint, and reference checks
