Big Data Developer
Virtual Vocations Inc
Collaborating with the analytics team, the full-time Big Data Developer will design and implement scalable ETL processes, perform data extraction and manipulation, and build utilities to enhance data flow patterns. Key responsibilities: Collaborate with the analytics team to find reliable data solutions that meet business needs Design and implement scalable ETL or ELT processes to support data demand Build utilities and frameworks to enhance data flow and incorporate automated unit tests Required qualifications: Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related discipline Intermediate proficiency in Python, with experience in data processing (Numpy, Pandas, etc.) preferred Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
