We’re looking for a caring and compassionate person who would love to make a difference in peoples' lives. We’re looking for an individual who truly cares about making our community the best home possible for our residents. Available Position: 1 part-time position in our rehabilitation and long term care neighborhoods and/or our memory care neighborhood. Every other weekend - shifts are 10 am to 4 pm. This is a great opportunity for a high school student or someone looking to spend time and be involved with the well-being of our geriatric population! It is a very rewarding environment! Primary functions include(but not limited to): Create and provide activities of therapeutic value. Targeting group activities that will provide educational value, mental, physical and sensory stimulation (i.e. crafts, current events, 1 to 1's, game time, baking, outside entertainment, bingo, discussion groups, active games, etc.). Complete daily paper work as directed. Qualifications Three to four years of high school, basic everyday living skills, the ability to understand and follow directions, and the ability to read, write, add and subtract are required.
