Exciting Opportunity for RNs: Med Surg Float Positions Job Description:
- Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Float RN in our Med Surg departments!
- Work 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour shifts, alternating between 7 PM - 7 AM.
- Experience the thrill of working across various Med Surg departments while enjoying a balanced schedule. Key Details:
- Position: 2 RN Med Surg Float positions
- Report to the Director of the Internal Resource Team
- Jack/Jill schedule: 4 shifts one week, 3 shifts the next
- Float between all Med Surg departments (excluding CCU, psych, and rehab)
- Required Certifications: BLS
- License: NC state or Compact RN license required
- Scrubs: Grape Purple Qualifications:
- Previous Charge Experience: Preferred
- Years of Experience: 1
- Patient Ratio Experience: 6
- Charting System Experience: Preferred (Community Hospital preferred)
- LTAC and Trauma Level I & II Experience: Preferred Required Skills:
- Accessing/Managing Ports
- Administration of Chemotherapy
- IV Insulin Management
- Telemetry Monitoring
- Oxygen Administration
- Wound Care and Management
- Central Line Blood Draw
- Heparin Administration Patient Care Details:
- Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics
- Staffing & Scheduling:
- Patient Ratios Days: 6
- Patient Ratios Nights: 6
- Weekend Coverage: True
