What You'll Do Ability to determine correct truck and trailer to service customers Delivery scheduling and communicating with drivers while maintaining excellent customer service Must be customer service driven Regularly communicate, interact and coordinate with internal and external customers Organize various components to form single shipment Book shipments with ocean carriers Navigate challenging shipping issues that regularly occur Keep yards updated with schedule changes Perform other duties as assigned. What You'll Need Two years of experience in transportation preferred (brokerage, dispatching, or management in trucking) DOT Manual compliance and regulations knowledge Export experience preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint Ability to prioritize and multitask responsibilities daily Excellent follow up skills Excellent research and investigation skills Ability to adapt quickly to fluid transportation circumstances Ability to act as a team player and work closely with others Your Education High School Diploma or GED required We are CMC, a Fortune 500 company at the leading edge of our industry.
