Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist for an outpatient vascular lab, requiring ARDMS RVT certification and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient vascular ultrasound laboratory setting
• Serves pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Primary location at Brier Creek with flexibility to float between Brier Creek and Raleigh locations as needed
• Monday through Friday, day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirement
• Majority of patients are arterial, followed by venous cases
• Ultrasounds performed include carotid, venous insufficiency, aorta, renal artery, dialysis access, vein mapping, arterial, and mesenteric studies
• Most exams are performed same day as provider clinic visits
• Role involves flexing between two outpatient locations depending on staffing needs
• Bi-weekly orientation is provided for onboarding
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Teamwork and flexibility are essential due to staff rotation among sites
• Must complete all required modules and compliance documentation within specified timelines

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in vascular ultrasound required; 2 years preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• ARDMS RVT credential required
• Must provide 1 supervisory reference from within the last year for consideration
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions or declinations accepted
• Locals accepted within a 75-mile radius at a reduced rate
• License required if applicable
