Must-Have Skills/Experience: 3+ years of experience in the acute behavioral health setting. Expertise in crisis stabilization including verbal de-escalation and emergency physical intervention skills. Phlebotomy experience.

Description: This position involves working in the Behavioral Health Division. The staff will float between adult and geriatric behavioral health units. The unit consists of 12 geriatric beds and 24 adult beds. The patient ratio is 1:12. Equipment used includes EKG, Omnicell, vitals, and labs. Electronic Health Record system utilized is Cerner. Supervision will be provided as needed. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Common diagnoses treated include Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, Substance Use Disorder, Dementia, and Depression. The ideal candidate will be energetic, a team player, and possess a positive attitude. Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills are essential. Required education includes licensure and certification as an RN. Dress code includes navy blue scrubs. Unacceptable attire includes clothing with hoods, jackets, hoodies, and Crocs.
