Nursing PositionPay Range $60/hr to $68/hr ScheduleEvening Shift — Negotiable during interviewOption 1: 4 × 10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday, 1:00 PM–11:00 PMOption 2: 5 × 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PMJob SummaryThis position is responsible for providing family-centered nursing care to patients, educating patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention, and assisting with navigation of the healthcare system as appropriate to the patient's developmental, cultural, emotional, medical, surgical, and rehabilitative needs.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive, family-centered nursing care based on the individual needs and conditions of each patient.Support patients with short-term and long-term disabilities and complex medical conditions.Work collaboratively within highly coordinated, multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care.Communicate efficiently and effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team.Demonstrate behaviors that promote teamwork, collaboration, and high-functioning integrated care teams.Adapt care and communication approaches to meet the developmental, cultural, emotional, medical, surgical, and rehabilitative needs of patients and their families.Provide education and guidance related to health maintenance, disease prevention, and healthcare navigation.Perform additional duties based on the assigned work setting and patient population.Participate in off-premise call schedules where required by the department.Required Skills & ExperienceInterest in working with individuals with short-term or long-term disabilities originating in childhood.Ability to work the required hours and meet the physical demands of the position.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.Willingness to participate in an off-premise call schedule when required by the department.Preferred Skills & ExperiencePrior nursing experience in a healthcare or health-related setting.
