A 198-bed, Level III trauma center in Farmington, NM is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department, with a focus on pediatric patients. The facility serves the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah and offers a broad range of services including a pediatric unit, childbirth center, cancer center, inpatient behavioral health unit, and day surgery center.

The role. The ED operates a 48-bed department with flex space, following a team nursing and Pod System model, with a dedicated social worker and a unit educator supporting the team. Patient ratios are 4:1 in the main ED and 6:1 in Fast Track. Nurses in this role will routinely manage patients presenting with conditions such as ESRD, substance abuse disorders, psychological disorders, COPD, CHF, abdominal pain, and chest pain, and must be proficient in trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and moderate sedation protocols. The unit uses Cerner as its EHR and is equipped with Zoll Defibrillators, Level One Blood Transfusers, QinFlow Blood Warmers, Hospira Plum360 pumps, Freestyle and iStat POC devices, and ultrasound-guided IV capability.

What we're looking for.

• RN with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• At least 2 years of acute care experience in an emergency department setting
• Experience with trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and moderate sedation required
• BLS required upon submission. All other required certifications can be obtained after hire; please refer to Life Support Certification document in attachments.
• Open to candidates who do not hold New Mexico or Compact licensure. Candidates must obtain prior to start.

Compensation. $31.00 - $46.50/hr plus $2 sign-on bonus
