TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Brownwood, Texas, 76801!

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP Must-Have: Previous charge experience in a labor and delivery setting. Experience with patient ratios of 1:2. Experience with Allscripts charting system is preferred. Description: Start date is within the next 3-5 weeks. May consider modified schedules up to 36 hours per week. Flu vaccine is required with medical or religious exemptions accepted. Candidates should possess skills in administering blood products, managing antepartum care, and performing postpartum hemorrhage management. Experience in assisting with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and infant assessments is essential. Ability to support breastfeeding, provide discharge teaching to parents, and perform infant identification is required. Familiarity with fetal monitoring and use of infusion pumps is preferred. Candidates should be capable of triaging obstetrical patients and managing labor and delivery processes. A strong understanding of maternal and fetal care, including managing complications, is essential. Daily census will vary, and candidates must be prepared to handle a range of prenatal and postnatal conditions. This position requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
