Position Summary

Position exists to perform high quality and comprehensive pediatric echocardiographic examinations on patients and prepare preliminary reports for physician interpretation. Requires a minimum of 2 shifts per week Mon-Fri 8a-4:30p.

Location: Minneapolis

Required:
* Associates Degree in Ultrasound Technology from an accredited program.
* Credentialed in pediatric and adult echocardiography via American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within one year of hire.
* Active basic life support (BLS) status and technical competency evaluations must be maintained.
* Ability to read, write, and use basic arithmetic and grammar.
* Ability to multi-task.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality.
* Ability to maintain professionalism with all patients and families when faced with difficult situations.

Preferred:
* Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS-pediatrics).
* Minimum 1-3 years prior experience in related field.

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. Annual salaries displayed are based on full-time employment (40 standard hrs per week). Annual salaries for part-time positions will be prorated based on the employee's scheduled weekly hours in relation to the full-time standard. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.

In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
