The Cost Analyst will support the Senior Cost Manager in implementing project cost control processes for major capital projects. This role is responsible for collecting, validating, and reporting cost data and supporting financial tracking throughout the design lifecycle. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow into broader cost engineering responsibilities within an EPC environment . Key Responsibiliti esCost Tracking & Reporti ngAssist in developing and maintaining project cost reports, forecasts, and trend log s.Update budget vs. actuals, commitments, and forecasting data on a routine basi s.Support preparation of monthly cost reports, including variance narratives and KPI summarie s.Maintain cost coding structures and ensure accurate data entry into cost management system s.Change Manageme ntTrack potential changes, design evolution impacts, and scope adjustment s.Support the Senior Cost Manager in preparing Change Order documentatio n.Maintain the change log and ensure changes are reflected in forecast s.Procurement & Contract Suppo rtAssist with cost review of subconsultant and equipment supplier proposal s.Validate invoices, pay applications, and commitment trackin g.Coordinate with accounting, discipline leads, and procurement to maintain accurate cost dat a.Data Management & Syste msMaintain organized, auditable cost files and documentatio n.Utilize project cost systems (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Prism, EcoSys, or similar tools ).Support implementation of cost controls processes and continuous improvement initiative s. Qualificati onsEducation & Experie nceBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related fie ld.3-5 years of relevant experience in cost engineering, estimating, project controls, or project account ing Skills & Competen ciesStrong analytical and quantitative skills with a high attention to det ail.Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Power BI, databases, or cost management software is a p lus.Strong communication skills, both written and ver bal.Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, procurement, and accounting te ams.Eagerness to learn cost engineering practices in a fast-paced project environm nmentH ybridWorks closely with design leads, project managers, procurement, and finance t eams.Supports a complex, multi-disciplinary design project within an EPC organiza #J-18808-Ljbffr
