Sr Reimbursement & Cost Reporting Specialist

Overview INTEGRIS Health, Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health system, is seeking a Reimbursement Specialist Sr. This remote position is part of the Financial Reporting team, where you will contribute to our mission of partnering with people to live healthier lives by managing reimbursement processes and ensuring compliance with CMS regulations. Responsibilities Collect, record, and review all documentation required by CMS for submission in key areas such as Organ Acquisition, Bad Debts, and DSH. Collect, record, review, and reconcile all Physician Time Studies. Participate in and contribute to ad hoc revenue analysis projects. Prepare and submit accurate and timely Medicare and other third‑party cost reports in compliance with CMS regulations. Manage and coordinate Medicare cost report audits, including wage index, EHR, and other special audits, and review proposed audit adjustments. Assist with the identification of Medicare issues that should be appealed or reopened. Review the reasonableness and accuracy of interim reimbursement rates and special payments from Medicare and third‑party payors, following up with the MAC as appropriate. Prepare monthly contractual allowances for Medicare and Medicaid. Prepare monthly cost report reserve schedules. Prepare and submit annual Medicaid DSH surveys and participate in the annual Medicaid DSH audits and year‑end Cost Report filings. Monitor proposed and final changes in Medicare regulations and reimbursement and provide updated schedules for the reimbursement department. Report to the System Reimbursement Director. Perform physical duties such as lifting up to 10 pounds occasionally and standing/walking up to 1/3 of the time; frequent keyboarding and verbal communication are required. Qualifications Required Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in hospital third‑party reimbursement. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or a business‑related field, or five years of equivalent work experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience with the Medicare Administrative Contractor.
