Quality Control Inspector

Connect Staffing is hiring an experienced Quality Control Inspector for a drilling equipment manufacturer in North Houston, TX. In this role, you will inspect drilling motor parts, including rotors, stators, and machined components, using gauges and precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications. Pay: $18-$21/hr. Schedule: MonFri 5:00 PM5:30 AM (overnight) Location: North Houston, TX Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Workplace Language: English Work Environment: Manufacturing Plant / Factory Overtime: Weekly OT available Responsibilities In this role, you will spend most of your time inspecting drilling motor parts, rotors, stators, and machined components using gauges and precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications. You'll also: Approve or reject products based on order specifications and quality standards, and document examination results Perform precise measurements, including angles, radii, contours, and surface finishes, using various measuring instruments Test parts for hardness and verify the accuracy and calibration of gauges and measuring tools Prepare and maintain inspection reports, job tickets, labor cards, and related documentation Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols Minimum Requirements 2+ years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector in a machine shop, metal fabrication facility, or similar Preferred Qualifications Experience in inspecting drilling motor parts, rotors, stators, or machine motor components Experience in inspecting and verifying the accuracy and calibration of gauges and measuring instruments Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and business periodicals Knowledge of Word Processing software, Design software, Order processing systems, Manufacturing software, and Database software Experience performing precision measurements, including angles, radii, contours, and surface finishes Background in oil and gas, drilling equipment, or heavy manufacturing environments Preferred prior job titles: Quality Assurance Inspector, Quality Technician, Quality Control Technician, QA Inspector, QC Technician, Quality Assurance Technician, QA/QC Analyst, Inspection Technician, Manufacturing Quality Inspector, Parts Inspector Pre-Employment Requirements Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently Ability to work at a fast pace and meet production deadlines Drug screen required Background check required Benefits Weekly pay Health insurance Dental insurance Earn referral bonuses See all our current openings and waitlists at jobs.connectstaffing.com ! #CONLP
