Location: New York City (Hybrid)
Pay: $175k - $190k Base + bonus & equity

Overview
This is a seniormost individual contributor role within a fastgrowing engineering organisation operating at massive scale in the consumer technology and security space. The company serves tens of millions of users annually and processes hundreds of thousands of realtime events per second across its platforms.
The role sits within a newly expanded NYC engineering hub following a recent acquisition and plays a critical part in advancing the company's AIdriven product roadmap. You'll work in a highly empowered, lowbureaucracy environment that combines the resources of a large enterprise with the pace and ownership of a startup.


Responsibilities

• Partner closely with engineering leads and stakeholders to define what to build and how to build it
• Lead frontend architecture decisions for complex, hightraffic applications
• Drive migration away from legacy systems toward modern, scalable frameworks
• Build and evolve serverrendered applications using TypeScriptbased frameworks
• Integrate and operationalise generative AI capabilities to create more customised software experiences
• Launch and oversee AI agents used for code generation and review, ensuring quality and reliability
• Contribute to system design, specifications, and longterm technical direction
• Collaborate across fullstack teams in a productfocused, customerdriven environment

MustHave Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong TypeScript expertise with modern frontend and serverside rendering frameworks
• Fullstack engineering background with strong frontend ownership
• Experience working with Kubernetes in production environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Demonstrated interest or handson experience with AIassisted development
