Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nutritional care to patients identified with special needs or nutritional risk, including assessment and reassessment.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans; adjust plans as patient needs evolve.
- Educate patients and families on nutrition, disease management, and lifestyle modifications to support treatment goals.
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams to integrate nutrition care into overall treatment plans.
- Document all interventions, assessments, and care plans in accordance with policy and acceptable practice standards.
- Apply clinical nutrition knowledge and decision-making skills to deliver safe, evidence-based care.

Requirements
- Active California license as Registered Dietitian (RDN) or eligibility
- Current RD registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligibility to obtain it
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Dietetics/Nutrition from an accredited program
- Clinical nutrition experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred
- Strong documentation and communication skills; ability to collaborate with care teams in a fast-paced environment
