Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Danbury, Connecticut. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a 366-bed acute care academic medical center. The role requires adherence to facility standards and procedures, with a focus on vascular, orthopedic, reconstructive plastics, neurology, thoracic, obstetrics and gynecology, serology, and urology services. Candidates are required to bring their Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license on the first day.

- Address: 24 Hospital Avenue, Danbury, CT
- Required Qualifications: Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, minimum of 2 years of operating room (OR) experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with scrubbing and circulating in the OR, familiarity with Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, start date 07/05/2026.
- Additional Information: The clinical responsibilities include vascular, hybrid vascular, orthopedic (large and small bones, total joints), reconstructive plastics, neurology, general thoracics, obstetrics and gynecology, serology, and urology services. Certifications and experience in these specialties are preferred.
